Making the Most of Your Practice

🎯

How to Practice Effectively

Read the question, pause for a moment, then answer out loud as if you were in the real interview. Keep your answers under two minutes. Record yourself if possible to review your delivery and catch nervous habits.

📝

Use the STAR Method

For behavioral questions, structure your answers with Situation, Task, Action, Result. This keeps your responses clear and memorable. Practice telling stories that show what you did and what happened because of it.

⚠️

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Do not memorize answers word for word. Interviewers can tell and it sounds rehearsed. Do not skip practicing questions you think are easy. Do not forget to prepare questions to ask the interviewer. Aim for 3 to 5 thoughtful questions.

💡

Tips for the Big Day

Review your practiced questions the night before. Get good sleep. Arrive early. Bring copies of your resume. Remember that interviews are conversations, not tests. The company is also trying to impress you.
